As an Indian who’s always loved Afghan food and the warmth of Afghan people, I have to say Kaboob House really impressed me! I came from California to Boise for work and decided to give it a try and wow, the food was absolutely amazing. The garlic naan and chicken curry were full of flavor, and the lamb biryani was perfectly cooked. The Afghani naan here is honestly one of the best I’ve had even better than most restaurants back home. Definitely a must-visit spot in Boise!

Eating here today was truly a delightful experience. Shams, the owner, was so generous and hospitable that it felt like I had been a long time friend of his.The food was sensational as well. I got the tikka kabobs, tikka masala, and lamb curry with naan and when I tell you…I was mesmerized with every bite. His recipes are so rich in flavor that it leaves you nearly speechless. Having the chai tea to go along with it was the cherry on top. I live in Emmett so it’s quite the drive for me, but I cannot wait to come back!

We spent my dad‘s 60th birthday at this restaurant. We had a large group family came together to surprise my dad. The food was absolutely amazing and fresh. The owner very friendly and kind, and the staff. It was my first time eating there and everything was fresh and very tasteful. I will most certainly be coming back.

We tried to dine in, but it was too late. However, the owner offered us take out. While we were waiting, he offered us organic hot tea from Iran. The interior is definitely exotic and beautiful. The rice was so tasty, and there was a lot of lamb. The lamb was delicious and tender.

This place was by far the one of the best restaurants that I have been to within the past 10 years. The foods smell alone was enough to make you start salivating. They make their own naan bread and it was above and beyond my expectations. During my visit I had the chicken kebab and it was absolutely delightful. The next time I have a chance to visit the Boise Idaho area I will have to make this one of my first stop.

Best dining experience I’ve had in a long time. The food was amazing! Everything was fresh, and delicious! The restaurant is family owned and operated. Everyone was so kind, and helpful, and willing to help answer any questions we had about the menu. We enjoyed the buttered chicken, and tika masala! Few restaurants in the valley are worth going back, yet alone taking the time to write a review about. However, this restaurant is 100% worth going back and worth writing a review about! Do yourself a favor and take a group of friends and go enjoy some of the best food in Boise!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant. It is a family business and you can feel the values behind it. The owner himself serves the guests and gives personal attention to everyone. We received two bottles of water, a salad, and even one dish as a compliment. At the end he warmly mentioned that everything is prepared by his wife. The food was delicious, and I truly appreciate the kind service.
